“I’ve made it! Just over 6 months post-explant and feeling SO much better!

I realised something still wasn’t quite right with me as some of my hip and lower back joint pain had returned about 4 months post surgery. I also started reacting to my Mirena IUD, constantly spotting and experiencing chronic pelvic pain. I had been referred to my gynaecologist to explore whether endometriosis was back.

I looked in to issues with the Mirena and made he decision to have it removed 25 November. In episode 19, I talk about that whole experience and the positive changes I noticed straight away.

I guess my body just doesn’t want anything foreign inside it 🤷🏻‍♀️”
