LILETTA - one of the newest of the IUD's I have just downloaded the 41 page document of the Liletta FDA approval process. Very interesting and trying to wade through it and figure out how to best post it here:)
My ayurvedic practitioner told me that she has been paying careful attention over the last 10 years that IUD's have been gaining in popularity and that "EVERY WOMAN with a Paragard IUD and most women with hormonal IUDs who she has seen HAVE HAD CYSTS in her armpits, breasts &/or ovaries"!!!!
If you are seriously considering get an IUD, please read this information & do your research carefully. Keep in mind that an IUD promotion campaign has been funded for the past 15 years with billions and billions of dollars from the Buffett Foundation, which has dramatically altered the opinions of doctors, naturopaths & midwives to be pro IUD. The people currently promoting them had to wait for the doctors who had "prejudice" against IUDs to retire before they could begin this recent campaign or "re-education".
Did you know that "all methods of hormonal birth control are safer than pregnancy"?, especially for adolescents? That’s what the American Academy of Pediatrics said in 2014 in their “Recommendation on Teen Pregnancy Prevention! They consider getting pregnant "dangerous to someone's health".
